Realm 02: Cozyton

Difficulty: Easy

Goal: To build a treasure room, lair, hatchery, and training room. Train your creatures so they can defeat the invading heroes and the Lord of the Land.

New Rooms for this level: Training Room.
New Creatures:                 Demon Spawn
Starting Gold Amount:     2500
Starting number of Imps: 4
Your Portal Max:                14
Enemy Portal Max:             none
New Spells:                         None

Opening Dialogue: A hideous sham of a town, in which the prosperous citizens have no gripes or moans.  Sadly, even the children are happy and secure.  This is because they aren't punished for non-existent crimes.

Objective: Remember the lessons you learned in Brana Hauk. You must build a Treasure Room, a Lair and a Hatchery and you will need to claim a Portal. Build rooms in squares of at least nine tiles to increase the efficiency of the room.

In this level, you're introduced to the training room and it's benefits. You also get to see that training creatures can eat your gold reserves like popcorn.

You start out with a large deposit of Gold to your west, another smaller deposit to your east, and a small vein of Gold to the Southeast. There is also a portal to the North.

Start by digging out a 5x5 room between your Dungeon Heart and the Gold to the West. Fill this room with Treasure Room Tiles. Now, continue digging to the west to mine the gold. The gold is in a deposit that is roughly rectangular. Limit the size of the Room you dig out to the size of the gold deposit, but square it out a bit. Spawn a few more imps while the gold is being dug out. Remember to slap your imps a time or two to make them work faster.

Now, dig a 5x5 room between your Dungeon Heart and the Portal to the North. Do not claim the Portal just yet. Turn this area into a Lair. Dig out another 5x5 room to the west of your Lair, and put a 4x4 Hatchery in it. Wait for your imps to fortify your walls. Slap any imps that aren't working fast enough.

Dig a tunnel to the gold deposit to the east, and mine the gold there to make a 4x4 room. Spawn imps until you have 12 of them, then claim the portal.

You'll now be offered the training room. Build a 5x5 training room in the room west of your treasure room. (The area that had the large gold deposit). As creatures appear in your dungeon, pick them up and drop them into the training room. Dig a tunnel between you hatchery and the training room. Wait for your imps to fortify all your walls.

Now, dig a tunnel from the eastmost room (the one that had the small gold deposit) to the small vein of gold southeast of your heart. Digging out all of this gold will reveal a hidden treasure room. Let your imps claim it and fortify the walls of the treasure room and the tunnel you dug to get to it. You should receive a warning that heroes are on the way . (They will approach from the east). You should have enough time to fortify the remaining walls before they get to you.

When you imps are done reinforcing your walls, dig a tunnel going south from the training room. Dig slowly, and let your imps reinforce the walls as you go. By now, the first heroes should be getting close. Go ahead and let them break through the tunnel you're digging. Start grabbing creatures (starting with flies, then beetles) and dropping them on the invaders.Even trained flies and beetles should be able to beat them. After the first heroes are dead, grab any surviving creatures (except the imps) and put them back in the training room. (If they need to heal themselves, they'll go to their lair to sleep).

A second wave of do-gooders is not far behind. Let them enter via the tunnel that the previous heroes did, then start dropping creature on them. Once again, start with flies, then beetles, and finally demon spawns. remember to return any surviving creature to the training room after the heroes are dead.

The Lord of the Land should now approach. Wait until he enters an area claimed by your imps, and drop everything you've got on him. They should have little trouble taking him down.

Looks like you did it again, Keeper! Good work!

Victory Text: Harder the heroes may have been but they are obviosuly no match for your forces.

Closing Dialogue: Darkhana. The surviving citizens have more on their plates than a Demon Spawn with three dead adventures to much. Not that many citizens survived as such.
