Level Guide Main Index

I'm currently writing Guides for all the Single-play levels in the game. I'll post them as soon I as finish them. Currently, Realms 01 through 20, Hidden Realms #2, #3, and #4 and the "Moon Level" are available.  I hope to add Level Guides for the other bonus realms later.

Note that these guides detail only one of many ways to finish these Realms.   They probably are better ways to play them.  Also, I play the PC version of Dungeon Keeper with the AI patch applied.  The AI patch makes a big difference in some levels (Such as Nevergrim).  If you have suggestions for improving these guides, feel free to e-mail me.

The "Overworld Tower" is your view of the world between levels, and it allows you to see your progress as you play the game.   Normally, you'll see a banner waving on the next world you need to conquer.   You select that banner to enter the next realm.

Regular Single-Player Levels:

Realm 01: Eversmile Realm 02: Cozyton
Realm 03: Waterdream Warm Realm 04: Flowerhat
Realm 05: Lushmeadow-On-Down Realm 06: Snuggledell
Realm 07: Wishvale Realm 08: Tickle
Realm 09: Moonbrush Wood Realm 10: Nevergrim
Realm 11: Hearth Realm 12: Elf's Dance
Realm 13: Buffy Oak Realm 14: Sleepiborough
Realm 15: Woodly Rhyme Realm 16: Tulipscent
Realm 17: Mirthshire Realm 18: Blaise End
Realm 19: Mistle Realm 20: Skybird Trill

Bonus Realms:
When you find a hidden realm by using one of the locate hidden realms boxes, you will notice an extra banner waving from your view in the "Overworld Tower".   The Hidden realm will have a question mark (?) on the banner instead of just being a solid color.  To go to a hidden realm, simply select the banner with the question mark rather than the normal one.  You'll be able to continue the normal realms after you complete the Hidden Realm.

All bonus realms have an objective you must complete to conquer the realm.  You do not have to complete any of the hidden realms to win the game.

Some hidden realms have a high-level creature you can transfer to the next realm if you conquer them.   This can be very helpful on Realms 18, 19, and 20 where a transferred creature would not otherwise be available.

Also, be mindful of a special banner with a white circle that appears during the first night of a full moon. This leads to the so-called "Moon Level".

Raiders of the Lost Realm: There is talk of an additional Hidden Realm (#5), where you start off with an Imp and Demon Spawn that you must use together to conquer the realm.  I'm told that Prima's Official Guide has maps and statistics for the realm.   Trouble is, there's some controversy as to how to reach it.  I've played that game all the way through several times and never reached it

Prima's Official Guide lists the Realms that lead to Hidden Realms as Tickle, Moonbrush Wood, Sleepiburgh, Woodly Rhyme, and Mistle.  Other sources mention Elf's Dance, Sleepiborugh, and Blaise End as having the Box to reach this Last hidden realm.    As far as I can tell, no one as the right answer.

My guess is that a program or data bug renders this realm unreachable.  If you have any information on how to reach this realm without cheating, let me know, so I can share it with others.

The Deeper Dungeons Levels:

The Deeper Dungeons is an expansion pack that was available separately.  It's also included free with the Dungeon Keeper Gold Edition.

When playing the Deeper Dungeons, you'll notice that you get a list of the levels names rather than the view from the Overworld tower.  You'll also notice that the names are "cooler" sounding then the levels in the original Keeper.  (Hey, just about   anything sounds cooler than "Flowerhat".)

Once you've conquered a realm, the name is darkened, but you can choose to play it again if you wish.  You may play the realms in any order you wish, and you can choose to skip some altogether.

You'll also notice that the levels are a lot harder than the original.   In almost all cases, the enemy is better equipped, has more resources, and has more creatures available then you.  You will not find quick victories here, Keeper.  These are definitely "expert" levels.

The level names are listed below.  I do not have the level guides for all of these realms done yet.  As I get the guides done, I'll link to them from the list.
