Casting Cost: 7000-9000
Duration: Time-based

This spell allows you to send a healthy dose of pestilence your enemy's way...

Casting this spell on a creature (even one of your own) gives it a highly contagious disease for a short time.  (The amount of time is based on the casting cost of the spell, see below).  Then each time the creature encounters another creature, there is a chance that the second creature will catch the bug.  Play your cards right, and your enemy could wind up with an epidemic on their hands.

Afflicted creatures slowly lose health.  If not cured in time, the creature will die.

Diseased creatures can be cured by picking them up and putting them at the temple.   Just be sure to drop them by the sacrificial pool, and not in it.

This spell, like many others, can be "powered up" to increase it's strength and duration.    Holding down the left mouse button while casting the spell causes the number inside the pointer to increase.  This number indicates the amount of gold the spell will cost when cast.

A Fly, being the wandering soul that he is, can be used has a biological weapon of sorts by using the disease spell.  Simply cast disease on the fly, then set him loose to wander into enemy territory.  As soon as he encounters an enemy, he will quickly die, but not before having a chance of passing the disease on to the attacking creature.   Just remember that this method can backfire if your fly wanders back into your territory.  (Which he may do if he gets hungry, or if it's payday.)
