Sight of Evil

Duration: Time-based

This spell gives you the ability to see areas of the map that you haven't explored.

You need only select this spell from the spell panel, then click on the area of the map that you want revealed.  You will be able to any any rooms and monsters that are in the area you selected.  The area will only be visable for the duration of the spell.

This spell is useful for locating trouble areas before you tunnel into them.  This allows you, to aviod these areas until you're ready to deal with them.

Note that the enemy Keeper can see your Sight of Evil Spell, just as you can see any that he casts in your area.  Also, while you can see monsters in the area, you cannot cast most spells into the area revealed.  (I know the manual says you can, but they lied).   One Spell that you can cast is Cave-in.
