Chicken

Casting Cost: 1200-3000
Duration: Time-based

This is one of the funniest spells you can cast.  Want to knock that Level-10 mistress down a peg or two?

Use this spell to turn one of your enemy's creatures into a Grade-A fryer.  The effected creature will have the toughness and abilities of a chicken.  (i.e.: They defenseless).  The creature will make a beeline for the nearest Hatchery.

The affected creature will stay this way for a time based on the cost of the spell.   The creature can be turned back to it's original form immediately by dropping it onto a Temple.  Make sure that you drop it onto a tile by the sacrificial pool rather then into the pool itself.

Make  sure you grab and cure any creature that has been turned into a chicken because it can (and probably will) get eaten by another hungry monster.

This spell, like many others, can be "powered up" to increase it's duration.    Holding down the left mouse button while casting the spell causes the number inside the pointer to increase.  The number indicates the amount of gold the spell will cost when cast.

Also, you can choose a target for this spell on the battle status window.  Simply point to the icon that represents that creature you wish to turn into a chicken.  I find this method much easier to use, since you don't have to find your target among all the other monsters on the screen.  However, this does mean that your intended target must be attacking one of your creatures....
